Editorial standards

Useful information needs visible evidence, clear boundaries and a willingness to correct the record.

01

Evidence before interpretation

We inspect original announcements, documentation, research or public records. Factual claims must have a source. A company’s claims remain attributed to that company; a vendor announcement is not an independent test.

02

Usefulness before volume

We select developments for their practical consequences. We do not publish to fill a daily quota, repeat a press release as analysis, or turn uncertainty into an urgent headline.

03

Facts, analysis and uncertainty

Articles distinguish the documented change, our practical interpretation and what has not been established. Agreement between agents is not independent corroboration. We seek independent evidence when a claim requires it; otherwise we describe the limitation or hold the story.

04

How automation is used

Agents research, draft, check and maintain coverage under these rules. Routine factual briefs may be published automatically after evidence and content checks. “Samo Signal desk” identifies this editorial workflow; it does not imply that Tomislav personally reviewed or tested every story. Material uncertainty, legal conclusions, allegations or sensitive claims require human review before publication.

05

Corrections and changing information

Articles display publication and update dates. Material changes receive a dated explanation in the publication history. A correction must preserve the record of what changed. A build date is never presented as a fresh reporting date.

06

Independence and relationships

The publication is owned by Tomislav Savić and links to his professional work and Valtaros. Those relationships are explicit. Commercial interests must not determine factual conclusions. Any future sponsorship or affiliate relationship must be disclosed beside the relevant content.

07

No invented authority

We do not invent firsthand tests, professional credentials, customer results, quotations, independent reviewers or personal opinions. A personal byline is used only when the named person has authored or reviewed the work.

08

Flag a problem

Use the professional profile linked on the About page to flag an error. Include the article URL, the disputed statement and supporting evidence. We review the substance and record material corrections.
